About Lamka Enterprises Construction​

Lamka Enterprises Construction is a trusted, family-owned and operated commercial construction company that has proudly served the Chicagoland area and surrounding suburbs for more than 30 years.

The company's foundation was built long before its official beginning. While still in high school, founder John Lamka worked alongside a plumber, an electrician, and a carpenter, gaining valuable hands-on experience and learning the fundamentals of each trade. These early experiences instilled the craftsmanship, strong work ethic, and attention to detail that continue to define the company today.

John also worked in his family's business, which was started by his grandfather in 1920, four blocks from Wrigley Field. It's where John's father taught him the fundamentals of running a successful company and, most importantly, how to treat customers with honesty, respect, and integrity. Those lessons became the cornerstone of the values that continue to guide Lamka Enterprises Construction.

In 1995, John and his wife, Cherisse, founded Lamka Enterprises Construction. They began by remodeling homes and renovating properties for resale. Through hard work, dedication, and a commitment to quality, the company steadily grew into a full-service construction firm specializing in commercial, multifamily, and residential projects, including new construction, tenant build-outs, renovations, and complete remodels.

Today, the next generation of the Lamka family is helping lead the business. Sons John and Joey serve as skilled carpenters and trained project managers, continuing the family's commitment to quality, craftsmanship, and integrity. Together with an experienced team of talented construction professionals, they have helped establish Lamka Enterprises Construction as an award-winning company recognized for exceptional workmanship, dependable service, and lasting client relationships.
